I couldn't help the title lol, a couple of weeks ago we went to a festival that had bands & DJ's including Avicii, LMFAO (my fave! they were awesome haha), Bloody Beetroots, Pnau & many more. I wasn't sure how I wanted to do my makeup but I wanted it to be more festival-like so at the last minute I threw in some glitter & felt like Ke$ha haha. Too bad it kinda looks like dirt from afar.  On the weekend my friend came down & it had been a while since I had seen her, so we planned a night of drinking & dancing. I had been wanting to do just a full on smokey eye look for a while now but didn't have anywhere to wear it, and didn't want to wear it during the day haha. I added some glitter under the lower lashline & falsies to make it look more "glam". It was also meant to be more black then silver but I used slate JEP when I should have used black bean. So this is a delayed post from the other weekend.. we had hired out a bus for my aunties birthday & decorated it & went out for tea to a place that's about 25 minutes out of town.. by the time we had picked everyone up it took us over an hour & we had (between us girls) 5 bottles of champagne 0_o Anyway, I went smokey again but decided to add some glittaa & I was going to do lashes but ran out of time 'coz I did my aunties makeup before..... pics of that at the end! Playing around with the colours.. this is probably more correct.  I tried out that NYX glitter cream palette , but I had already applied some e/s & didn't like that so I used it under Pixie Epoxy. I guess it wasn't really a fail I just couldn't get it to blend in the outer corner. I will try it next time on its own, but when I was picking it up with my brush it felt like chunky glitter that was not creamy at all. Lips are NYX soft matte lip cream in Addis Ababa (not as bright in these pix as in real life!!!) It doesn't look so matte coz I left too much lip balm on my lips before I applied it, but it didn't take long for it to go matte. Silly Face :P So I basically used the 2nd lightest colour & then the gold in front of that & the darkest purple in the outer corner ,which was the one that was hard to blend. I think that could have been from the Epoxy though. So, the engagement party is all over, which I'm kinda sad but happy about it, mainly because it was so fun to do all the decorations (which took only 2 days haha- 1 hour to clean the majority up with about 10 people) but now the stress is over! Time to relax, even though it was a great night. The shed had never ever been that decorated before and without my future M.I.L and her friends' help it wouldn't have happened. Anyhoo... I got my hair curled that afternoon, and when it came to my makeup I didn't really have anything planned! But I knew I wanted it to stand out, so I went for gold glitter as you will see in the pics.
