When going to Perth for a weekend, one thing is guaranteed: Shopping! Since I don't get to do it too often I take advantage, and it had been a good 6 months since we last went up haha. I have named this my makeup essential haul since most of the makeup i bought is what I call "practical"- no fun eyeshadow's & lipsticks, but things I need. haha if you get what I mean. I got all of this from Priceline. They have a huge section of this makeup brand called Models Prefer & I liked the look of their stuff & tested it a bit. Its reasonably priced too. 1: Models Prefer eyelash curler . I needed a new one badly, my other one didn't seem to fit the shape of my eye properly but this does. Review to come soon. I think I may just chuck all of the same brand into one big review lol. 2: Models Prefer brush cleaner . I've needed one of these for a very long time too. Unfortunately, when I got home I found the bottle didn't squirt properly :( So I have to open...

Ughh guys, I am so sorry for being so boring lately. :( I don't have much time to do my makeup too exciting lately let alone take pics... I also haven't bought too much stuff lately.. but here's some things I have bought over the last 2 months  Chemist Haul (sorry for the bad pic!)... Lady Jayne Bristle brush, Lady Jayne small plastic hair ties, Swisspers Day Cream with SPF (I need a new day cream & this one smelt lovely, I'm liking it so far) & my HG Makeup remover wipes by Garnier.  On this website a while ago, http://www.catchoftheday.com.au/ they were having a huge sale for cosmetics, Revlon, Maybelline, L'oreal etc, they had some big bargains. I got this bronzing stuff, All About Glo for $19 instead of I think $39? Anyway I thought I had better stock up for summer, & also they were sold out of pretty much everything else haha) & in the spray bottle is "Rock Chick Wave  Spray"  Top- Pressed Bronzing Powder, Under that in that gold thin...

*exhales after saying long title* :P Anyhoo, the other day I had a look in a chemist that I barely ever go into & I saw that they had a huge display of Bourjois! So of course I went over & swatched about 20 different products onto my hand baha. They also had some of the Covergirl Lip Perfection colours but not a very huge colour selection. & then lastly as I went up to the counter I looked in the bargain bin & they had some really nice polishes for $5!! The bag was free when you spent $30+ on Bourjois. Bourjois: Smokey Eyes in Rose Vintage. Blush- 16 Rose.  Quick Thoughts: I wish I had bought a different colour from the smokey eyes e/s because I found these are preeety similar to UD Virgin, Sin & Hustle (not exactly the same, but in the same group) &  I'm always looking for different colours. So thanks mainly to Makeup and Meme & Starryskies for their swatches, I ordered a few NYX soft matte lip creams. L-R Amsterdam, Addis Ababa, Tokyo  I am sure you will be seeing these in many FOTD's to come!! From what I've tried, they are beautiful!! I also decided to try a glitter cream palette, I've heard these were hard to work with but why not give it a go!? oh & on a sad note, we had to take the kitty to the vets this morning, mum found her a bit matted up and dirty & she couldn't walk properly, so she's getting a few x-rays done now. Looks like the worst thing could be a broken pelvis! :( UPDATE: Unfortunately, her hip has been dislocated & they have popped it into place but it pops straight out which requires surgery which is $$$, lets just hope she wont get hit by another car after it!!

Although she isn't posting anymore, I wanted to thank Amalia from Dear Makeup Diary for the package she sent with items from her blog sale. It was wonderfully packed & nothing came damaged, like we were worried about! When I came home from work, mum forgot to give it to me straight away so we were sitting outside having a few drinks when she brought it out. Yes finally I am going to post my holiday haul.... I hadn't bought really any makeup in a while so I thought I would stock up =) Disclaimer: I am not bragging about what I bought I am showing you just coz! It looks like a lot more when its all pictured together haha.  Please don't stone me because I bought fake MAC!! As you probably know in Phuket they have lots of knock offs bags etc but I wanted to try this fake stuff to see if it compares. & no it doesn't! The 8 palette is a tone of BS, its ok to swatch with your finger but as soon as you go to use a brush it disappears!  The blush I knew from the moment it was fake, as soon as I opened it the pan fell out because the glue had become loose. It also opens up down the bottom to reveal a mirror & brush ha. But alas it is quit pigmented.  The mineral duo looking ones could easily fool a person.
