My Foundation Routine (Pic Heavy)

Image
So although my foundation routine has changed plenty of times over the years I am quite pleased with how I do it now, but I hope that I continue to improve it :) So I think the title explains it all, lets get to it ;). Product list/ pictures are at the end  Apply your primer! Beware the naked skin. You will see that I have blemishes to cover up, you can't really see the extent of the scarring though.  Before anything else you will have to use your colour correctors first (green skin is not a good look haha) I only apply the green concealer if I feel like I need it.  I blend out the yellow concealer with the foundation end of the Essence of Beauty brush. I find this is fluffier than other foundation brushes so I like it for this job. Then with the concealer end I apply my concealer. In the same order that I applied it in each spot (nose, chin, cheeks, forehead) I blend it out with the brush again. You want to mainly blend the edges. Only apply a little bit of concealer at a time, yo...

How to curl your hair with little to no heat

Image
I wasn't thinking of taking pics & making this into a tutorial when I started doing it so the pictures aren't that informative but its ok & simple to follow. This is using bendy hair rollers. If you do not need to use heat & you have enough rollers you can go to bed with them in your hair & when you take it out in the morning you will have beautiful curls. What you need:  Bendy Rollers, some hair clips, bobby pins, sectioning comb. Products I used in my hair: PPS the ends (cuticle sealer applied after I washed my hair) Heat protector (obviously only if you use heat) Herbal Essences Tousle me Softly spray gel, Moroccan Oil for afterwards. If your hair does not hold curl very well you may want to use a curling cream. After you have washed your hair, section your hair off. Grab a section of hair within that section (size depends on how you want your curls to turn out) & roll in a bendy roller, starting at the ends & rolling up to your head, folding the ends ...

How to make your lips look bigger & fuller

Image
I have more of a bottom lip then a top lip ( especially when I smile, it almost completely disappears lol) so here is a tutorial on some tricks that I have learnt on making your lips bigger & fuller. Before & After. I think my lips look a little too porn star like though ;) You don't have to agree!Sorry that it goes off into the sidebar (on my computer anyways) to view properly, left click on it & it should open a new window 1. Start by applying lip balm & blotting the excess of it. 2. Apply a nude lip liner just on the outside of your lips & blend. This is one by Avon (not the best colour- I need a new one!) You do not want to go further than your lip line or it will look too fake. 3.Apply a mauve or skin toned lip liner that is just darker then your natural lips just inside the lip line & blend. I used Mauve l/l by NYX which I find is just a bit too dark for me if not blended. 4. Apply your lipstick. I went nude- Pumpkin Pie from NYX. 5.Dap a white pearly ...

Smokey Pink 2.0 + Tutorial

Image
Ages ago I did a smokey pink look & I wanted to recreate it to make it look a bit more dramatic... even though I don't think it's that much more dramatic I liked how it turned out & I thought, why not make a tutorial again. So Yeah... :)  1. Apply your eye primer. I used TFSI . I also put some tape on the outer corner. 2.Apply your colour base all over the lid. I used NYX JEP in Milk + Slate. Blend out. 3. Apply your pink all over the lid. I actually didn't mean to cover the slate part =/ so if you want it more intense only apply over the milk 4.Apply your chosen darker shade to the outer lid, patting it on outwards & diagonally. Blend with the pink as you go. 5. Apply more if needed & blend into the crease. 6. Remove the tape, Apply pink to the lower lash line & the gray into the outer corner, sweeping it up to get rid of the harsh line from the tape. 7. Add some black into the outer v to darken it up 8. Add your eyeliner & tightline  9. Highlight, ...
